This hotel is a picturesque representation of the rich and indulging culture of Kashmir. Supporting some stunning views, the design utilizes influences from both Mughal and colonial architecture. The design elements are native, exclusive and indigenous. The design and decor extensively use pinewood, which, apart from looking splendid, also helps keep the interiors warm. The lobby is adorned with arched windows, green lights and pine motifs which is also a direct influence of Kashmiri architecture. The carvings in the restaurant are inspired by local masjids. A perfect juxtaposition is delineated with muted tones of the restaurant and the incorporation of bright upholstery. The coffee shop follows a colonial architectural style with stunning views. The rooms support crewel fabrics and soft furnishings, which is artistically enhanced by Namada rugs.
