The town is known for the religious setting surrounding the Vaishno Devi temple. The hotel carries subtle influences of the temple. It embodies local sentiments. There are some carefully placed artefacts that carry the theme in a very subtly obvious kind of way. The hotel uses the Holiday Inn brand’s statement green in abundance throughout. The artworks used are all made by local artists promoting the local artist community. The minimalist theme is carried with simple straight lines, and the subtlety of the religiousness is a nod to the sentimentality of the location. All rooms are designed to face the holy temple, making the hotel an immersive religious and spiritual experience.
